Privacy Policy
1.Who We Are and What This Policy Covers
Ace Cooperatives LLC ("Ace," "we," "us," or "our") is a door-to-door sales cooperative that markets and sells pest control services on behalf of partner pest control companies (each an "Operating Partner"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share personal information when you visit acecooperatives.com (the "Site"), book a call with us, apply to or work with us as an independent direct seller, purchase services from an Operating Partner through one of our sales programs, or communicate with us by phone, email, or text message.
This Policy does not cover the practices of Operating Partners, who maintain their own privacy policies for the services they provide, or the practices of other third parties we do not control.
2.Information We Collect
Information you provide. This may include your name, phone number, email address, mailing address, and the contents of messages you send us; scheduling details when you book a call; application, onboarding, tax, identity, and payment information if you apply to or contract with us as an independent direct seller; and, if you purchase services through one of our sales programs, the information needed to establish your service account, such as your name, service address, contact details, service selections, agreement terms, and payment method details, which are processed by the applicable Operating Partner or a payment processor.
Information collected automatically. When you use the Site we may collect device and usage information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring pages, including through cookies or similar technologies as described in Section 8.
Verification and quality records. To confirm that sales are accurate and authorized, we or an Operating Partner may collect welcome call recordings, electronic signature and verification records, photographs, or checklist confirmations connected to a sale.
Information from other sources. We may receive information from Operating Partners (for example, account status or service records related to sales made through our programs), from references you provide, and from service providers such as scheduling, verification, and communications vendors.
3.How We Use Information
- To operate the Site and respond to your inquiries and booking requests.
- To establish, route, and support customer service accounts with the applicable Operating Partner.
- To recruit, onboard, contract with, and administer compensation for independent direct sellers under separately signed agreements.
- To verify sales, prevent fraud, enforce quality and welcome procedures, and maintain accurate records.
- To communicate with you by phone, email, or text message, subject to the consent and opt-out terms described below.
- To comply with legal obligations and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
4.Sales on Behalf of Operating Partners
When you purchase pest control services through one of our sales programs, your service agreement is with the applicable Operating Partner, not with Ace. We share the information collected at the point of sale with that Operating Partner so it can establish your account, schedule and perform services, process payments, and communicate with you about your service. The Operating Partner's own privacy policy governs its handling of your information once received. If you have questions about servicing, billing, or the Operating Partner's privacy practices, please contact the Operating Partner identified in your service agreement, or contact us and we will direct your request.
5.How We Share Information
- Operating Partners, as described in Section 4.
- Service providers that perform services for us, such as scheduling, electronic signature and sale verification, payment processing, communications and text messaging delivery, website hosting, and analytics. These providers may use personal information only to perform services for us.
- Legal and safety, when we believe disclosure is required by law or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ace, our direct sellers, our Operating Partners, customers, or others.
- Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business.
- With your direction or consent.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for any purpose, excluding vendors and service providers acting on our behalf solely to deliver messages you have requested. The exclusions above apply to all categories of information described in this Policy.
6.Text Messaging
With your consent, we may send text messages related to recruiting and scheduling (for example, confirmations and reminders for calls you book, and updates you request about working with Ace) and, where applicable, service related messages connected to a sale made through one of our programs. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services or of any engagement with Ace.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at sales@acecooperatives.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier.
Additional program terms appear in our Terms and Conditions.
7.Phone Calls and Email
If you provide your phone number or email address, you agree that we may contact you at that number or address about your inquiry, booking, application, engagement, or service account. You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in any such email, and you may ask us to stop calling by telling us during a call or contacting us at sales@acecooperatives.com. We honor opt-out requests promptly.
8.Cookies and Analytics
The Site may use cookies or similar technologies for basic functionality and to understand how the Site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. The Site may load resources from third-party providers, such as hosted fonts and scheduling tools, that receive your IP address in order to deliver those resources. Because we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control do not change how we process your information, though we will honor applicable legal requirements as they evolve.
9.Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including to administer engagements and service accounts, satisfy record keeping obligations under our agreements with Operating Partners, comply with legal, tax, and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by record type and legal requirement.
10.Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11.Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of your personal information, and to receive information about how we process it. To make a request, contact us at sales@acecooperatives.com with the nature of your request. We will verify your identity before acting on a request, may ask for additional information to do so, and will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may authorize an agent to act on your behalf as permitted by law. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will explain the outcome of your appeal. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
12.Children
The Site and our programs are intended for individuals eighteen (18) years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at sales@acecooperatives.com and we will delete it.
13.Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
